Mary Seacole workshop

Adventurer, nurse and pioneer – it can only be Mary Seacole. Using smell, sight and sound, you will be transported back to the Caribbean to explore Mary Seacole’s extraordinary life in Jamaica. Don’t relax too much though, she needs your help in the Crimean War’s British Hotel. 

What will my students do in this session?

  • In this interactive and sensory approach to curriculum learning, students will have a hands-on opportunity to run the Hotel, bandage a patient and make a healthy stew.
