On 4th May, as part of International Day of the Midwife, Leeds Teaching Hospitals held a celebratory event at the museum showcasing the work of midwives from across Leeds.
During the event, the team launched a video to celebrate midwifery through the ages and hosted an awards ceremony to recognise the Midwife of the Year, Mentor of the Year, Team of the Year, Non-clinical support staff of the Year and Student Midwife of the Year.
