Under-fives can explore the senses of sight, touch, taste, hearing and smell in the roleplay medical centre. Crawl through the digestive system and find your way out down the poo slide in our exciting softplay area!

You will be guided by our five feel-good friends; Wise Eyes the Owl, Katrina the Caterpillar, Gnasha the Crocodile, Dr Ele the Elephant and Medi the Monkey.

How to use SPARKS!

Spaces are restricted to two adults per child maximum.

We have designed SPARKS! for children aged under five to play in. Please respect this to keep little ones safe.

Please leave buggies, changing bags and coats in the dedicated spaces outside the play area.

Please remove your shoes so that we keep the floor clean – adults too!

Please supervise your children in this area at all times.

Our museum café sells a range of delicious drinks, food and snacks for your family. During school holidays we also have indoor and outdoor picnic spaces available too.

Drinks with lids only please (we ask that no food is consumed within the SPARKS! area).
