Leave a legacy

Leaving a gift in your will is a wonderful way of helping Thackray Museum of Medicine to care for our collection and exhibits, develop our outreach and education programmes, and maintain our listed building, once the Leeds Union Workhouse.

You can make several types of gifts:

• A pecuniary gift, where you leave a specific amount of money to the museum
• A residuary gift, where you leave a percentage of your estate to the museum from the remains of your estate after any specific gifts and any debts you may have are paid.
• A gift of some specific property – for example some stocks or share, property or other item you own.
