Epilepsy and me

We have worked with artists from Pyramid – a Leeds-based organisation that invests in people with a learning disability, autism, or both, through the discovery, development and disruption of the arts – to explore their experiences living with epilepsy.

Alfie Fox works with photography, digital art, print, text, collage, and making films.  He has created a three-minute original film called ‘Epilepsy and Me’, which attempts to convey to the viewer how it feels to have epilepsy.

Alfie describes how: “I get funny tingles in my arms and hands and sometimes a taste in mouth. I sometimes see things, and I used to hear things. I also sometimes turn and stare at a wall”
