What can doctors really hear through their stethoscopes? How do surgeons prepare before an operation? How do medical students learn to become Doctors and how do they spend their day?
Find out at our free medical careers open day supported by the Medical Schools Council.
Join us to discover your potential with a jam-packed programme of talks, Q&As, and hands-on family activities. This is your chance to step in to the shoes (or scrubs!) of healthcare workers, and find out what their jobs are really like.
We’ll be going behind the scenes in the Operating Theatre and delving in to the important decisions medical professionals make every day. Expect to hone your eye for detail with real-life X rays, stay calm under pressure with the guidance of experienced surgeons, and even practice some lifesaving skills along the way.
