We want everyone to feel like they can come to the museum and enjoy the story of medicine, after all, it affects every one of us! As part of that commitment, every Monday we offer free entry to anyone who either works and/or lives in Harehills.

Just bring along your ticket and some proof of address with you on the day of your visit. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy; a letter addressed to you or your St James’s Hospital pass is all we need to see!

Story & Rhyme Time sessions – no booking required

We also offer free Sparks! Story and Rhyme Time sessions every term time Monday morning at 10.30am for under 5’s of families who live in Harehills.  Sessions include storytelling, nursery rhymes, and sensory play; followed by time to explore Sparks! our under 5’s soft play area. One parent/carer per child. No booking is required.

Families can enjoy Story and Rhyme Time on any of the following days:

  • 2nd 9th, 16th and 23rd October
  • 6th, and 27th November
  • 4th and 11th  December

Please note there will be no Story and Rhyme Time session on Monday 13th November.
