Our Emergency Museum is officially ready for action! Prescribing fun at a range of events throughout the summer, including BREEZE events across Leeds, Countryfile LIVE at Castle Howard, Chow Down festival in Halifax and so many more – don’t miss your chance to see the ambulance in action. All events will be listed on the Leeds Inspired website and our social media.
Featuring a teddy bear hospital, interactive games and other activities delivered by our Emergency Museum crew, there’s plenty to get involved in. You’ll get to climb aboard the ambulance and step into the shoes of a paramedic, seeing the range of kit they use on the job every day. Or, if you fancy travelling back a little further, you might just get to meet Florence Nightingale as she shows you the gory and macabre medical tools used hundreds of years ago – you’ll be glad of all the healthcare advances we’ve had since then!
