Our latest exhibition features banners made by people with dementia and their carers. Working with artist Ian Beesley, designer Martyn Hall, cartoonist Tony Hall and poet Ian McMillan, the groups have crafted sixteen large banners that draw on the rich tradition of political banners highlighting inequalities. The project aims to campaign for a better understanding and representing of people living with dementia.
The exhibition is an extension of research led by the University of Exeter. Groups from up and down the country, including. Kent, Oldham, Preston, Exeter, York, Leeds, Bradford, and Scarborough were asked to take part.
