Our volunteer talks encompass a range of fascinating topics: from the use of leeches in medicine, to the development of artificial eyes – come and be wowed by former specialists as they retell stories about ground-breaking medical innovations and concepts, extraordinary people, and their own remarkable careers in healthcare.
Topics volunteers cover include history of anaesthesia, the white cane (including demo and your chance to try one), being a mental health nurse, history of pharmacy, development of X-rays, and our obstetrics object collection.
